Hershey's Kiss Peanut butter cookies

If you like peanut butter cookies and Hershey Kisses you will like these cookies. Not surprisingly, the cookies have been a favorite among bakers and cookie-eaters ever since. Whether you're making peanut butter blossoms for or just a regular Tuesday afternoon snack, you'll appreciate this new version of the classic favorite. The combination of peanut butter and chocolate is hard to beat and they are popular in the South and probably most places. And these cookies are just simply fun to make and eat, also Hershey's Kiss peanut butter cookies are perfect for bake sales, snacks for kids or just your average snack or dessert. As parents we always think of good treats for our kids and there friends. If you can imagine making a batch of these cookies and taking them to a party, believe me your cookies will be gone fast and people will want to know who made them. I have some tips on making your own here's a few.

These are a wonderful addition to the peanut butter cookie. Hershey's also makes kisses with nuts in the middle. This is a fun kiss to put in the middle of the cookies. If you make a them with different color dough, try the chocolate kisses that are part white and part brown. These cookies bring back such great memories! Preheat oven to 375.
Peanut Blossom Cookies consist of a peanut butter cookie that has a chocolate Kiss sitting happily on top. Top immediately with kiss firmly until cookie cracks around the edges.
1 1/3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup of shortening
1/2 cup of peanut butter
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoons of milk
1 teaspoon vanilla(if desired)
In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside, Cream the shortening, and the sugar together. Add brown sugar and blend well. Add the egg and the milk. Mix well.
